I’ve been eye Donni track pants for over a year. This article finally made me purchase (hope they fit!). It resonated so much about the season on mom life that I’m in. I’m throwing close on without thinking, not looking in the mirror, and sticking to comfy (trendy) basics. I think these pants will elevate that look a bit from the green adidas track pants I’ve been wearing (that are cool but way too long on my 5’3 frame) and since I live in a warm climate, truly believe quality linen is the move over fast fashion linen. (My Deiji set has lasted over 3 years with regular washing. I doubt any Zara sets can speak to that?)

Word to the wise! I got the linen track pants and they look/fit great BUT the stripes on the sides came unstitched in a few places after a single wash and dry (and I followed the instructions on the tag!) They’re super cool comfy pants but just be careful how you wash them, I don’t want you to suffer as I have suffered lol

I’m honestly convinced I’m only going to hand wash them bc I don’t want to mess them up. They got here yesterday and I’m undone. How could such perfect linens pants exist? I’ve never found linen pants to work for me (I’m 5’3 with short legs) and these are SO flattering

Loved this article. I had just written about how I was lost getting dressed for motherhood, and then I read your piece!

It’s too bad you had to feature Elyse Winter in this. I used to be her neighbor and she would copy my style all the time ( literally buying the same items and never complementing me). Oh and when my mom died she stopped talking to me (after giving her a ton of support when she was having issues with her boyfriend). So if you want to dress like a cruel sociopath she’s your girl.
